The world as it is now, drawn fresh from public data.
A new collection of world and regional maps drawn from current public-domain geographic data — new sheets, not restorations of archive scans.
What these maps are
These sheets are drawn, not scanned: the coastlines, borders and names come from Natural Earth's 10-metre dataset, which is public domain. The first editions now in review follow one set of conventions — countries are the ISO 3166-1 units plus Kosovo; disputed or undefined boundaries are dashed; Crimea is drawn within Ukraine and Kashmir along the Line of Control — and every sheet names the data edition it was drawn from.
Data: Natural Earth, 10m edition (public domain), named on each sheet. We use no agency logos and imply no endorsement.
What they are not
Because nothing here comes from an archive scan, the archive promises made elsewhere on this site — a named archive and record, the original linework kept, the age left in — do not apply to this collection. These are decorative prints, not for navigation.
