Where the files are
- Bought on this site: your download links were on the thank-you page after checkout and in the email you gave at checkout. Each link works for 7 days — save the files somewhere safe. If a link has expired or the email never came, reply to the receipt email and we send a fresh set.
- Bought on Etsy: instant-download listings deliver from the order page and by email from Etsy the moment payment clears. The custom star map is made to order and arrives as an Etsy message within 24 hours.
What is in them
JPEG files at 300 dpi in the sizes named on the listing; the modern overview maps and night-sky prints come as one ZIP per colourway. Every size is a true 300 dpi unless the listing says a size is enlarged.
Printing well
- Print at the size named in the file, or smaller. Do not scale a file up past its size.
- Ask for matte paper or cotton rag; glossy paper fights an antique map.
- Any print shop or online printer reads the dpi from the file. You do not need to convert anything.
- Frame behind glass or acrylic; the paper tones in the restoration are part of the map.
Using them
The files are yours to print and enjoy, as many times as you like, for yourself and as gifts. Please do not resell or redistribute the restored files as they are.
